These are member-only events with written invitations having already gone out to producers.
A statement on the First Milk website says: "The First Milk Board will be running a series of meetings with members this week and next, ensuring every member has an opportunity to discuss last week's announcement with their leadership team. Members with any queries should contact their local area rep, farm enterprise team member, or Board member."
NFU dairy board chairman Rob Harrison said: “Following First Milk’s announcement last week, it is important that members with queries attend these meetings for clarification on any issues.
“The NFU continues to support its dairy members during this terribly difficult period. Any members with questions for the NFU on this issue can phone NFU CallFirst on 0370 845 8458.”
The meetings take place in West Wales, Scotland, the Midlands and Cumbria.
