The extension of the Countryside Stewardship payment claim deadline does not apply to ELS or HLS claims.
Submitted a claim, but not received a receipt?
Where you are sure you have sent your form in but NE has not yet logged or sent a receipt - the advice is to send in a duplicate and if you have proof of postage/email of the original to include that if possible.
Amending a claim
You may need to amend your claim if, for example:
- You have not been able to carry out the management required
- You’ve transferred land in or out of the agreement
Natural England must receive any amendments to claims by 31 May 2018. After that Natural England:
- Will accept late amendments until 11 June 2018
- May reduce payments by 1% on the area affected for each working day the amendment is late
Changes to your agreement
You must notify Natural England in writing before you make any changes to your agreement. This is in addition to completing your claim form. Check your agreement’s handbook for details of the requirements and deadlines for making changes.
