Straight-talking with a positive approach, Richard spends his time between the mixed family farm and representing the interests of British farmers both nationally and internationally.
Richard and his family have grown the farm business to generate income from tourism, renewable energy and embraced conservation agriculture.
A Harper Adams graduate, he completed post graduate management training and gained invaluable work and supply chain experience. Richard returned to the family farm in 2011.
NFU Stafford Branch Chairman, Staffordshire County Vice-Chair and Chairman of NFU Next Generation Policy Forum, Richard also collaborates with the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs AGRI steering group. He is a representative of the European Council of Young Farmers and World Farmers Organisation.
Richard’s passion is to represent fellow farmers’ future needs with energy and vision.
