I wanted to apply for the PIP as I’ve spoken to plenty of people who have done the programme and they’ve all highly recommended it and said it’s a great opportunity for networking and meeting like-minded people within the sector.

I’ve been with Avara Foods for five years and have worked on our company breeder and broiler farms and I am currently contract production manager for our contract broiler farms.

I’m excited to learn about parts of the industry I perhaps would not have had the chance to, such as lobbying MPs and visiting parliament.
