Ryan is WONDER’S co-founder and ‘Chief Wonderer’ and a three-time Grand Slam-winning former Wales rugby union captain & British and Irish Lion, who’s career culminated with an MBE in the Queen’s Birthday honours in 2021 for his services to rugby and charity. Ryan Jones MBE is a former professional rugby player who, across a 15 year career, played for 12 seasons at the Ospreys, earning 75 caps for Wales, 33 of those a then record as captain. In 2005 he toured New Zealand with the British and Irish Lions, playing 3 tests and being voted the journalists ‘Player of the Tour’.

Ryan is one of only seven Welsh players along with Gerald Davies, Gareth Edwards, JPR Williams, Gethyn Jenkins, Adam Jones and Alun-wyn Jones to have won 3, 6-Nation Grand Slam titles. This along with a championship win positions Ryan amongst the most successful players and generations in Welsh rugby history. As a huge supporter of multiple charitable causes Ryan was awarded an MBE in the Queens Birthday Honours in 2022 for not only his distinguished rugby career but, more importantly to Ryan, his contribution to charity and the community.

Ryan has vast experience consulting with teams and organisations, large and small, from around the globe. Specialising in ‘Individual, Team and Organisational Performance’ Ryan believes in people’s individual and collective potential. Through engaging learning experiences and content, supportive coaching and facilitated conversations: leaders, teams and individuals are able to take actionable, relevant steps to improve their collective and individual performance.

Ryan is also an accomplished event host, ‘after-dinner’ and key note speaker with a wealth of experience speaking and contributing to events large and small.
