The Defra call for views on possible future measures to accelerate disease eradication in England, closed on the 21 April. The NFU summary of the call for views summarises Defra's policy options for the future of the bovine TB eradication strategy which includes policy proposals relating to:

  • Cattle movements
  • Pre/post movement testing
  • Enhanced bio security
  • The future use of alternative TB tests.
