Important Lincolnshire Members

Have you received notification of an ancient footpath reinstatement application? If so, we have arranged a series of meetings, the first of which is on 4 December at 7pm at the Petwood Hotel, Stixwould Road, Woodhall Spa, LN10 6QG to provide advice and guidance to members who are affected.

Our panel of experts include:

Sam Durham, NFU Chief Land Management Adviser

Chris Miller, Director at Institute of Public Rights of Way & Access Management from Lincs County Council

Tom Hickingbottom from Wilkin Chapman, NFU Legal Panel Firm

Do make sure that you can join us, it is very important that you find out what steps you need to take now.

For more guidance from the NFU please see below:

The NFU is aware that members are continuing to receive applications for historic RoW (Rights of Way) to be added to the definitive map. We are working to ensure that the agreed reform package is implemented by government as soon as possible.

This will allow everyone to move the debate from one of historic claim and counter claim to one focused on RoW improvement, ensuring we have a network fit for the future.
