Using repurposed artificial turf on cattle tracks – what you need to know

The NFU is aware that a number of companies market repurposed artificial turf to farmers, however, the Environment Agency has suggested that the use of such material would require an environmental permit. 

As such, there is a risk of enforcement action being taken if repurposed artificial turf is used without an environmental permit.
