Join us to hear about the work of WRW and the support available for farmers interested in forming Water Abstraction Groups in Worcestershire. Your involvement will help influence the agricultural elements of regional water resources planning into the future.

There could be significant reductions in water available in the future. Abstraction licenses could be removed of severely reduced. What would that mean for your business?

Water Resources West (WRW) are planning for the future and would like to work with the sector to ensure water is available for agricultural use. WRW are keen to promote the development of Water Abstraction Groups, bringing agricultural abstractors together to navigate local water challenges.

Speakers include:

  • Sarah Faulkner - Environment and Rural Affairs Adviser
  • Kate Mayne - Faulkner & Mayne Sustainable Agriculture Ltd
  • Richard Blackwell – Director of Water Resources West
  • Mark Betson - NFU Water Resources Specialist
