The NFU and NAAC hosted a webinar on 21 June 2021 providing guidance on planning and managing work around powerlines during harvest.
The need to plan and manage work around lines is shown by the fact that on average two people in agriculture are killed by electricity each year. There are also many more incidents which damage equipment and thousands of ‘near misses’ which could have fatal consequences.
